Kokoro (the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra's wonderful contemporary chamber music specialists) conducted by Mark Forkgen, will perform at our 2016 season finale on Sunday 18th September at St. George's, Bristol.

Bristol Ensemble

The Bristol Ensemble hold a pivotal position in South West music, presenting a varied programme of concerts and events in the region's major venues. Formed in 1994 by Roger Huckle, Bristol Ensemble is a musicians' collective, bringing together the best of the region's performers.

Roger Huckle

Roger Huckle has been the inspiration and guide for Bristol Ensemble since its foundation in 1994. Roger studied at the Birmingham Conservatoire and with Frederick Grinke, was a member of Norway's Bergen Philharmonic and now performs with leading UK orchestras - including co-leading the London Concertante and Opera Box Orchestra.

The NMSW Group

Andy Keenan (clarinets & saxophones), Lionel Handy (cello), Harriet Riley (percussion), Paul Israel (piano) and Alison Holford (cello) and others have performed at venues across the south west and will be playing a programme of NMSW commissions inspired by the work of Peter Randall-Page at Dartington Hall in the autumn.
