Including the world premiere of Alasdair Nicolson’s Piano Concerto directed from the keyboard by Inon Barnatan. Alasdair is one of Scotland’s foremost composers and has been the artistic director of the St Magnus festival in Orkney since 2011.

Shostakovich Piano Quintet
Charlotte’s piano quartet, Zustände is a co-commission from Wilthsire Music Centre and the Schubert Ensemble. It is inspired by the climate and landscape of Greenland, its title referring to the island’s weather conditions.
